Finance Manager – St. Austell - £45,000 - £50,000 Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a new client, a specialist manufacturing company who are genuine experts in their field. The business currently seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This will be a broad and interesting opportunity where the successful candidate will work closely with directors, based in the UK and internationally, to take a lead role in managing the financial health of the business. Key aspects of the role to include: - Supervise and develop a small team of transactional support staff - Production of management accounts with commentary for SMT - Oversee bank reconciliations - Variance and business performance analysis - Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts (with company director’s) - Balance sheet reconciliations - VAT reporting - Oversee bank reconciliations - Some HR responsibilities as required (such as new staff on-boarding) For this role we seek an experienced and technically and commercially astute Finance Manager. Whilst the successful candidate will ideally be professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), candidates who consider themselves as qualified by experience will also be considered. Previous manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
