Forge Talent has partnered an engineering business in Manchester who are looking to hire a Finance Manager on a Permanent basis.
Responsibilities :
- Support the Financial Controller with internal and external reporting.
- Ensure the financial policies and procedures are constantly adhered to.
- Internal management reporting and external statutory reporting.
- Ensure month-end procedures and timelines are adhered to.
- Manage the posting of the transactions for monthly, quarterly and year end purposes.
- Preparation of monthly management reports.
- Preparation of board packs.
- Understanding the commercial running of the businesses to report on GP margins by project. Investigating into the margins.
- Cashflow forecasting & management.
- Be the primary lead for the external audit.
- Assist on ad-hoc projects within the finance team.
- Manage the process of monthly payroll.
- Constantly review processes and procedures.
- Manage two direct reports.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Commercially focused
- The ability to work under pressure and work in a very fast-paced environment
Salary & Benefits:
- £60,000
