About the role Are you an expert in financial analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies? What you will bring to the role: Continual improvement of finance systems and processes related to the Operational departments Management and control of working capital, reducing Inventory levels and obsolete stock down in a sustainable manner Drive production cost and efficiency across the function by providing consolidated detailed reporting and analysis of lead indicators Financial forecasting & budgeting of the cost base of the Operation department, challenge and make recommendations for efficiencies – monitor and report on deviations to budget/forecast Capture & develop Core Value Driver (Spectris) / KPI (Malvern Panalytical) data from existing and planned systems, develop consistent reporting and provide insight into deviations from plan/expectations using basic statistical analysis tools Improvement of the processes for the collection of data (reduction of non-value-added activity, consolidation, and automation), Non-Bill of Material costs Alignment of data across the value stream and reporting of that data to key stakeholders Creation and management of a reporting suite analysing current and historical performance trends (Financial & non-financial) Material Standard Cost analysis and updates Acting as the primary interface representing ISC for key projects About you: Bachelor's degree (BA) in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or other relevant Business degree Recognised Accounting Qualification (CPA, CMA, ACMA, ACCA, ACA, CGMA) Strong system (SAP / Salesforce) experience Why you should join Malvern Panalytical: Be a part of an ambitious, fast-growing, international company with a friendly and inclusive culture.
