JobOverview

To positivelysupport the Registered Manager in providing leadership to theadministration care and maintenance functions of theservice

To provide leadership to carestaff within the service

To providecare in accordance with current best practices according to policyand procedures agreed standards legislative requirements andrelevant regulations under the direction of theManager

To supervise the caredelivery within the service

Tomaintain skills at a current level and undertake such training anddevelopment as may from time to time be required to maintainpractices as up to date

To activelytake part in the on call service

TheCare Coordinator s responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following:

Ensure service usersare at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes andpreferences enhance their wellbeing

To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to theefficient running of the service

. Toorganise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with currentbest practices according to policy and procedures agreed standardslegislative requirements and relevant regulations under thedirection of the Manager and within the financialplans

Ensure that the care service isdelivered to service users at the times and for the durationspecified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contractstandards

Be responsible forpromoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supportedby the service

Ensuring all recordingsystems and organisational documentation are of a high standard andkept up to date

To support themanagement team to ensure all staff at the service receive formalsupervision and appraisals

To supportthe management team to ensure all service users receive formalreviews.

JobRequirements

Minimum ofLevel 2 in Health and SocialCare

Good writtenand verbal communication skills

A goodunderstanding of Premier Community s policies andprocedures

A good understanding ofPremier Community s systems

Full indate Premier Community training

Goodattendance and timekeeping

Full Driving Licenceand Access to aCare
