WeDoData are working exclusively with a leading independent school in Somerset who have an exciting opportunity for an Examinations Officer .

This is a highly prestigious private school with beautiful campuses where term time is condensed to 32 weeks/year compared with the state school year of 39 weeks. The role is being offered on a term time only basis (TTO) plus 4 additional weeks which takes the role up to 36 weeks/year.

Role responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple databases
  • Liaising with examination boards, parents, staff
  • Keeping track of data for internal and external reports
  • Ensuring compliance with Exam boards (i.e. JCQ)
  • Reports for assessment and analysis
  • Completing administration for internal and external reports
  • Planning for internal and external Examinations including entries/registers/seating plans
  • Management of a team of invigilators
  • Management of exams budgets

Successful candidates should have:

  • Experience with School Management Information Systems (e.g. iSAMS, SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor)
  • Experience with Timetabling
  • Excellent IT and administrative skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong team leadership and project management skills

The following would be highly advantageous:

  • Experience using iSAMS
  • Previous management experience
  • Previous experience working within an independent secondary school in a relevant Examinations role
