Our client is seeking an EV Installer to join their team permanently, making a fantastic impact on the business and developing further. The EV Installer will be installing electric vehicle charge points around the required area. The EV Installer must have previous commercial experience and a JIB Gold Card to be eligible for this position. Key Responsibilities for the EV Installer: Install electric vehicle charging stations Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed and share best practice Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and installation guides, to carry out the proper installation of EV chargers Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions Liaise with the supervisor and provide updatesSkills Required for the EV Installer: NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or approved apprenticeship 1-3 years of Commercial/Industrial experience Full UK Driving License JIB/CSCS Gold Card City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging (or equivalent) City & Guilds BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) (Desirable) Experience with DC Chargers (Desirable) SSSTS (Desirable)Benefits for the EV Installer: 22 days annual leave Annual company performance bonus Company van + Fuel Card Overtime available Holiday purchase scheme Pension scheme BUPA Healthcare (after 6 months) Structured level system for Electricians to advance their skills Travel subsistence provided If this role is of interest, please apply for additional information or contact Thomas Edevane from Clearwater People Solutions Read More |
