English TeacherLocation: North LondonStart Date: September 2024Salary: £120 to £170 per dayTeacherActive is excited to partner with a mixed co-ed school in North London seeking a passionate and dedicated long-term English Teacher. The school, rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED, offers excellent transport links and convenient staff parking. This role has the potential for permanency and will initially focus on Key Stage 3, with opportunities to extend to Key Stage 5.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver High-Quality English Lessons: Plan and teach engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of all students, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of English literature and language.Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the English curriculum, ensuring it meets the diverse needs and interests of students.Student Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to students, fostering both their personal and academic development.
