Emergency Lighting Engineer£35,000Holiday + PensionVan, Laptop, Phone & Tools We are currently seeking an engineer/electrician with experience, maintaining,Servicing, & repair to emergency lighting; this is behalf of our client, a large electrical contractor.You will be covering an area of Greater London and surrounding counties, straight from home, using phone, laptop, vehicle and tools provided.Duties for Emergency Lighting Engineer
  • Carry out remedial repairs/works
  • Survey and report works that will be required
  • Visit various domestic & commercial properties and be point of contact
  • Have a good understanding of Emergency Lighting and be able to identify/report faults.
  • Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual emergency lighting tests where required.
  • Replace failed equipment, Lamps, battery, ballasts, gear trays, fittings etc.
Required Skills for Emergency Lighting Engineer
  • Experience working with Emergency Lighting systems
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • Knowledge of SMART LED lighting systems.
  • Identification and reporting of failed equipment.
  • Experience of fault-finding diagnostics.
  • Reporting of works undertaken/further works required
Certification Required for Emergency Lighting Engineer
  • City and Guilds level 3 electrotechnical qualification in electrical installation or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of BS 5266-1 2016
  • You must have held a full UK driving license for at least 12 Months.
