Build 4 Growth Limited. is a privately owned construction company specialising in general building and refurbishment. We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
This permanent full-time position is suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience within a thriving and supportive workplace.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients
- Maintain the business' NICEIC accreditation, admin. support will be provided
- Travel around the country to work on various sites, on occasion working out of hours
- Follow construction phase plans and risk assessments
- Ability to mark up drawings, to enable designers to do As Built/proposed drawings
- Create a material requirements list in advance of starting work
- Supervising other trades, in a Site Foreman role, when required
- Willingness to assist other trades, when required
- Ability to use a tablet to complete forms, certificates, and electronic timesheets.
- Open to supervising/training an apprentice
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Have at least two years supervisory or managerial responsibility for the standard of electrical installation work, in accordance with the qualifications outlined by NICEIC
- NVQ Level 3 diploma in installing electrotechnical systems and equipment (Building structures and the environment) and a Level 3 Award in the periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations, or equivalent
- SMSTS would be preferable
- Previous experience in a similar position within the Construction Industry
- A valid clean UK driving license
- Self-motivated individual possessing a confident, positive and enthusiastic approach
- Strong organisational skills and be able to present information in a logical manner
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
