As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking two skilled Electrical Engineers to help maintain and enhance our production processes.


Job Description:


We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our cardboard manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and improving electrical systems critical to the production process, ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Install, and maintain electrical systems and components used in cardboard production equipment, including corrugators, printers, die-cutters, and other machinery.
  • Collaborate with production to optimize the performance of electrical systems, minimizing downtime and maximising efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues with manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical, maintenance activities, and project progress.
  • Able to work night shifts as and when required.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Lesser qualification balanced with more hands-on experience will be considered
  • 5 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the cardboard or packaging industry.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, transformers, and circuit protection.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to industrial electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable skills


  • Experience with high-speed production equipment and processes used in the cardboard manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
