We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose:The Electrical Controls / Design Engineer will design, develop, and supervise the production of control systems for our special purpose machines. The successful candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering and control systems design and production. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop control systems for special purpose machines. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop complex control strategies and integrated system designs. * Generate electrical schematics, panel layouts and BOMs. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control system issues. * Ensure that all design and manufacturing processes adhere to all industry regulations and safety standards. * Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production of control systems. * Evaluate and implement design improvements to increase efficiency and performance of our machines. * Oversee system-level testing of all control systems to ensure performance criteria are met. Required Qualifications and Experience: * Degree or higher education in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in designing and manufacturing control systems for special purpose machines. * Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and industrial communication protocols would be advantageous * Proficient with CAD tools for circuit design. * Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
