DevOps Engineer – Cambridge (onsite) – £50-55kHexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world leader specialising in IoT communications and they are now seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company’s CI/CD system, supporting and optimising the Product Engineering Team’s use of the CI/CD pipeline as well as designing and implementing new CI/CD aspects to enhance testing and monitoring and ensuring the security and efficiency of our products through DevSecFinOps practices. Additionally, you will also design, implement, and maintain automation processes using Ansible, AWX, Python, and shell scripting to improve productivity, quality, and security as well as support the migration from existing orchestration systems to Kubernetes and Docker and ensure the security and efficiency of our cloud systems. Key skills required for this role: * 5+ years experience in a similar DevOps role * Expertise with VCS/CI/CD systems, particularly Gitlab * Solid experience with containerisation tools like Docker or Kubernetes * Strong problem-solving and automation skills, especially in Linux, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting * Experience with IoT/Embedded productsBeing a rapidly expanding company with a rewarding culture, they’re looking to grow quickly, meaning you can grow with it!
