Digital IC Design Lead

You will join an already successful team who have technology that ships into top tier flagship smartphones, wearable devices and other consumer products.


The company is looking for a skilled and experienced Digital IC Technical Lead to join their dynamic team.


You will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the development of custom IC to deliver high quality digital work packages from RTL design, supporting relevant verification strategy and plan, with strong knowledge of front-end and back-end Digital IC design flow including coverage, synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), linting, formality, GDS layout, etc.


Responsibilities


  • Leads and mentors a team of digital IC engineers in the design and verification of complex integrated circuits.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensures successful execution of IC design projects.
  • Develops and implements design methodologies to improve efficiency and quality of digital IC designs.
  • Oversees RTL design, synthesis, and verification activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Drives the development and execution of test plans to validate digital IC designs.

Qualifications


  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in the digital IC design process from concept to completion, with a focus on RTL design and verification.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
  • Proficient in industry-standard EDA tools and methodologies for digital IC design and verification.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of digital design principles, synthesis, and timing analysis.

Day-to-day


The Digital IC Technical Lead will lead a team of engineers to develop and verify complex integrated circuits.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful execution of IC design projects.

Day-to-day activities will include mentoring team members, overseeing RTL design and verification activities, and driving the development and execution of test plans to validate digital IC designs.
