WSN is looking for a Database Administrator for a multi-strategy, multi-manager global hedge fund.
As a multi-strategy fund, the firm trades globally across multiple asset classes and investment approaches. The environment is fast-paced and we are growing rapidly. This is an excellent growth opportunity for someone looking to join a small team and have an immediate, outsized impact.
This position will provide direct support to all Production, UAT, QA, and Development databases. These includes database health checks, performance efficiencies, security, database maintenance and patching, backup, restore and recovery, space (file system, db space, log space and tempdb) management, replication, HA and DR, data migration and integration; enforce data policies and RBAC user access administration.
The Database Administrator is expected to know how to write T-SQL scripts to help improve business processes and to make recommendations on improving database operations.
