Pinnacle Group are seeking a Data Manager reporting into the Head of IT Services, you will be responsible for understanding the structure, format and flow of data between multiple internal and external systems.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure data is managed effectively and in a way to allow maximum interpretation, informing wider stakeholders of how the business is doing, providing an insight into processes and identifying where improvements could be made.

You will also work to ensure data held is accurate and that corresponding datasets reconcile with the correct master relationship.


The post holder will be an experienced people manager and the role will be suited to those who have a background in database administration, reporting, data flow management, data interrogation and data analysis.

The role will primarily focus at supporting Data Management strategies working in conjunction with our external technical service provider.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of all underlying API’s for various connected applications
  • End to end ownership of data workflows for key IT applications
  • Maintain a clear vision of the overall Project Landscape
  • Work with our strategic IT partner to implement a robust data warehousing landscape solution
  • Work with the Leadership team to identify areas for improvement and provide support improve data reporting capabilities.

Key requirements:


  • Able to devise and implement effective systems and processes for quality assurance and compliance
  • Proficiency with wider databases and data management technologies – SQL, SAP Business Objects, Power BI etc.
  • Measurable success in the delivery of cost efficiencies and margin improvements across contracts
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in data management or analysis
