Synchro is partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing online digital e-commerce business, now recognised as one of the UK's leading brands in their sector. In their upcoming phase of digital transformation, they are seeking a Data Engineer to join their team.


A taste of what you will be doing:


  • Ensure the stable operation of the data environment, focusing on security and performance.
  • Support external partners and internal teams with data to drive business initiatives.
  • Create and maintain reporting data models for use in BI reporting.
  • Maintain reports in the BI reporting tool.
  • Collaborate with the business to prioritise and define data requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed-upon priorities.
  • Help non-technical end users adopt a self-service mindset for reporting, providing guidance and best practices as needed.



What you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and providing updates on data activity progress.
  • Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with Python
  • Extensive technical expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting technologies.
  • Experience in working with and administering modern BI platforms
