Data Cabling Engineer Alecto Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer based around London to join our client's expanding team. This position has become available due to company growth and would prefer someone at this time with experience that can hit the ground running.Our client are a global company who specialises within the Audio Visual, Data and Smart Buildings industries. The company are well respected and they are looking for experienced Data Cablers who want a chance to expand their knowledge and career at an exciting, forward thinking company. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and termination of data cables (Cat5, Cat6, Fibre)At times managing a team of sub contractorsProviding excellent customer service and supportAbility to work alone and as part of a teamWorking collaboratively with other departments and other contractors on siteMaintain awareness of new and emerging technologies relevant to the role Desired SkillsExperience with Cat5 and Cat6 Cabling and terminatingAbility to organise and prioritise workloadsPersonable and 'work with' attitudeAbility to work on own initiativeExcellent communication skills (both written & verbal)Creative and strong problem-solving skillsShow good attention to detailBe driven, motivated and enthusiasticAbility to work to deadlinesCustomer focussedFull UK driving licence In return, the company are prepared to pay between £30,000 - £40,000 as a basic salary. There is also overtime available paid at extra rates.
