Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Look no further! We're currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Oldbury.



Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and manage all aspects of the credit control process.

  • Chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments.

  • Proactively negotiate and set up payment plans.

  • Resolve customer queries and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.

  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities.

  • Assist with month-end duties and provide support to the finance team.



    • Requirements:



  • Previous experience in credit control or a similar role

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite

  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment and credit management principles
