RG Consultancy are working with a manufacturing company in Wigan who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This business is a large global entity, well known in their sector.

Duties:

  • Overseeing a ledger comprising 600 active accounts with outstanding amounts ranging from £100 to £200,000.00.
  • Employing diverse strategies, including phone calls, emails, debt letters, and customer visits as needed, to optimise debt collection efforts.
  • Occasional visits to other branches.
  • Contributing to the reduction of query and dispute occurrences in terms of both value and volume.
  • Conducting monthly reviews of the ledger with the Senior Credit Controller to assess performance and address overdue debts.
  • Assisting in cash allocation when required.
  • Handling the processing of new credit applications.
