Role

We are seeking an experienced UK qualified Technology Lawyer / Partner to play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and guidance to clients operating in the technology sector responsible for;

  • business development and client acquisition within the realm of technology law.
  • expertise in technology law to advise clients on a wide range of legal matters related to technology, including IP, data privacy, cybersecurity, software licensing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and build lasting relationships.

Requirements

  • qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate and 5 years+ PQE
  • experience supporting technology transactions within a law firm or in-house corporation.
  • understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act and EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations
  • confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit
  • strong client following is not essential however a proactive approach to generating a further pipeline of clients is.
