The Job: Purpose of Post: The JAQ Group is one of the UK's leading and fastest-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce groups comprised of 4 (soon to be 5) brands. In the past 12 months, we’ve grown over 100% Year on Year with The Essence Vault, our primary brand, being a key driver. We are looking to add to our team of dedicated A-players based in London to continue to drive forward our mission and support the growth of our latest brand launches through the rest of 2024 and beyond. Due to recent growth, we’re expanding our team to support future efficient growth across our channel mix. Reporting to our Head of Retention and Senior Copywriter, our Copywriter will be an integral part of driving best-in-class cross-channel execution. You will be responsible for creating engaging and persuasive copy that delivers a clear and concise message, driving action from our customers and across various channels. We seek a creative thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of crafting persuasive copy that drives users to convert. As a natural storyteller, you will support with bringing our brand and product to life across channels and mediums. An individual who is adaptable to different tones of voice, mediums, campaigns and objectives. With the ability to balance sales-led copy and brand identity to ensure that our written execution drives conversion, whilst elevating our positioning. Key duties:

The Person: Specification Essential Education Attainments Job Experience A Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Copywriter, preferably with a focus on conversion-led copy for email marketing, social media, and e-commerce sites. Proven track record of writing compelling copy that drives action for a DTC e-commerce brand, agency, or group (or within a vertical with heavily transferable learnings) Specialist Knowledge / Skills Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising. Ability to capture brand voice and adapt messaging across various target audiences. Strong research skills to ensure all copy is accurate and credible. Proficiency with email marketing platforms and knowledge of email marketing best practices (preferred). Ability to manage multiple streams of work at one time confidently and in an organised manner Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas and receive feedback effectively.
