Commercial Planning Manager

Lime Talent is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Planning Manager to join a leading company in the FMCG sector.


This dynamic role is designed to drive business performance through effective planning and operations management.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Planning:


  • Lead the monthly sales forecasting process alongside Business Managers.
  • Coordinate the annual business planning process with the Commercial Director
  • Collaborate with Business Managers on key customer business plans.
  • Maintain, develop, and refine business planning tools and processes.
  • Commercial Analysis:


  • Conduct detailed commercial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Analyze monthly business performance against budget across key metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date price builds for top customers.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers to explore customer and market opportunities.
  • Review market and customer profitability as required.
  • Undertake category analysis and research to generate insights and opportunities.
  • Support strategic decision-making with industry analysis and reporting.
  • Sales Operations:


  • Gain thorough knowledge of the sales order process from purchase order to fulfillment.
  • Manage inventory planning and administration across in-market warehouses.
  • Maintain regular communication with the global supply chain.
  • To apply for this role you’ll display the following:


  • Previous experience in Commercial Planning, Business Planning or Commercial Finance
  • Experience from within the consumer goods or retail industry
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability
  • Planning, organization, collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Power BI experience would be beneficial however, the business is willing to provide training if needed
  • Full right to work in the UK is required, the business is unable to provide sponsorship for this role
