Clerk of Works Northwest London £30 per hour inside IR35 6 months (possible extension) Role Purpose Panoramic Associates are working with a local authority in Northwest London that are looking for a Clerk of Works to join their Housing Asset Management Team and contribute to the Smarter Housing Plan, focussing on compliance and health & safety within the HRA Capital Investment Programme. Key Responsibilities Manage contractors on-site, providing instructions and making critical decisions. Inspect building works ensuring compliance with contract documents. Maintain project continuity, covering for colleagues during absences. Prepare design, quotation, and tender documentation; manage projects to final account stage. Resolve customer complaints promptly. Team Outputs Manage budgets for Decent Homes improvement and major repairs. Deliver minor works and maintain an up-to-date stock condition information system. Survey and inspect properties; develop Asset Management strategies and policies. Partner with contractors, stakeholders, and residents to improve services. Adhere to and deliver the Smarter Ambition Plan. Additional Duties Provide direction to project support staff and colleagues. Ensure compliance with the Council's Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety Policies. Promote and participate in performance appraisal and development initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and ensure information security. Communicate effectively with the public in accurate spoken English. Requirements Commitment to equal opportunities and promoting diversity.
