Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Civils Site Manager / Site Agent on behalf of a long-standing regional civil engineering & groundworks contractor to manage smooth delivery of a project in West Yorkshire.They deliver large-scale roads & sewers & infrastructure packages to various sectors including: residential, commercial & industrial. Package values are up to £10m and will typically include: s278/s38 works, deep sewer installs, shafts, pipework, attenuation, ducting & general civils.Based out of a central office in West Yorkshire with ongoing works in Leeds, Wakefield, Selby and surrounding areas. Progression opportunities are extensive and the in-house career development has regularly seen Site Engineers & Site Managers progress to Contracts Manager level.Duties: * Daily running of site - setup as PC & working as turnkey sub-contractor * Progress meetings & progress reports * Ordering materials * H&S records for site * Daily site diaries and documentation * Writing and updating RAMS * Liaison with local authorities and clientsExperience Required: * Must have proven experience working as Site Manager or Site Agent on similar roads & sewers and civil engineering projects * Must be fully capable of running packages with values of around £5m * Must have full knowledge with highways spec & NRSWA regulations * Must have: CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS and ideally NRSWA Supervisor.Remuneration:On offer is a salary of up to £55,000 (DOE) plus generous package...Package includes: company vehicle (car or van) or allowance, pension, tax free paid death in service, annual leave, fuel scheme and more.For more info contact Andy Gray at Elvet Recruitment Read More |
