About the Role

The primary objective of The Civils Field Manager is to be responsible of the control of your designated project from beginning to end as well as ensuring all documentation, services and processes are completed in line with the needs of the business whilst providing support to the Civils Field Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities will include:

· Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.

· Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.

· Attend meetings (mainly conference calls) with internal and external stakeholders.

· Continuously working to improve efficiencies and process to ensure that build is completed in the most cost-effective manner.

· Overall Management of several sub-contracting site crews carrying out civils and cabling works on underground Telecommunication networks.

· Compliance with road works signing, lighting, and guarding.

· Responsible for all site works, methodology and network build approach.

· Responsible for site inspections at the start and the end of the day.

· Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality, failures, and service deterioration trends.

· Liaising closely with the Supervisor to discuss project delivery within a geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement.

Experience:

· Experience within the Telecommunications/ Civils industry required.

· Experience in a similar role previously

· Management experience

· Knowledge of the BT Network

· NRSWA Accreditations

· Full UK Drivers Licence is an essential
