The Support Worker would have an opportunity to join a leading group offering therapeutic care and education services for children and young people. The role would be ideal for experienced Children's Support Worker looking for a new and rewarding career challenge in a growing organisation'The a Support Worker you would be able to work flexibly covering long day shifts, weekends and sleeps. As a Childrens' Residential Support Worker you would be required to:Work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment. Ensure the day-to-day management is facilitated in a professional and competent manner and support the Service Manager in providing the best quality care. Work alongside other professionals, to provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child. Record events and observations, progress reports, preparing and implementing care plans and recordsYou will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change. As a Senior Support Worker you would meet the following requirements:Gained at least 1 year experience in a Children's Residential Care HomeObtained a level 3 Qualification in Caring for Children and Young PeopleHave great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
