Finatal is partnering with a leading multi-site healthcare provider, backed by private equity, who are committed to delivering high-quality care across all its locations. With a robust growth trajectory, they are expanding their UK footprint through opening and acquiring new sites. They are now seeking a CFO who can execute on their financial strategy, driving revenue and EBIDTA growth ahead of a future exit event.
The role
As the CFO, you will oversee the financial operations of the business, providing leadership in financial planning, analysis, and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a private equity environment, experience in healthcare, and an ability to navigate the financial complexities of a multi-site operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic financial plan. Provide critical insights and analysis to support decision-making. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory and private equity requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison with private equity investors, managing relationships, reporting, and driving value creation strategies.
- Lead financial due diligence, integration, and financing of new acquisitions, while supporting the company’s expansion strategy.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring alignment with business goals and identifying growth opportunities.
- Optimise financial processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and ensure the financial integrity of the business.
- Identify and manage financial risks, including cash flow, investments, and capital allocation, to ensure the financial health of the company.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- A proven track record as a CFO or Finance Director in a private equity-backed business, ideally within healthcare or a multi-site organization.
- Understanding of private equity structures, reporting requirements, and value creation strategies.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector and/or other multi-site businesses
- Demonstrated success in managing mergers, acquisitions, and integration of businesses, with an ability to drive post-acquisition value.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Qualified Accountant – ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent
