Facade Design VacancyWe are looking for a technically minded CAD Designer with a passion for architecture and construction technology to join our busy facade design practice. Company Description:Verteks Associates are a fa? ade design practice focussed primarily on the detail design of building facades, predominantly for large scale commercial, educational and residential developments. Our work typically includes the technical detailing of building facades in aluminium, stainless steel, glass, stone or ceramics plus curtain walling and windows for a variety of clients including developers, contractors and system manufacturers. Our office is based in Lockington, near Derby, in a 17th Century country house with a pleasant, positive environment in a countryside setting. The role:The role will involve producing detailed design drawings, in line with architectural concept drawings, and the production of material fabrication drawings /schedules for ordering / fabrication. There will be a need for liaison with other team members, clients, structural engineers and architects, together with site visits and meetings as required. Where required, the successful applicant will receive mentoring and support from the existing team; there will also be the opportunity for on-going training and development.
