Buyer – Indirect

This is your opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company who are seeking for a Buyer to join their team who produce products to make the planet a better place.

Keen to speak to people who have:

  • Experience of working within a similar role 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems 

Duties:

  • First point of contact for general indirect procurement queries for the Division 
  • Supervise compliance to the indirect procurement process 
  • Take responsibility for the purchasing of indirect goods and services that support the overall operations of the business
  • Advise business on required indirect roles, accesses & delegation of authority
  • Produce indirect spend reports for management review through use of excel 
  • Create indirect vendors on SAP 
  • Support internal management with wider indirect procurement activities 
  • Identify, and act upon, process improvements within the indirect procurement cycle
  • Indirect vendor creation
  • Assist with ethical sourcing compliance,
  • Other adhoc duties
