Salary: £27,000 Annual salary plus monthly sales bonus (10% of invoiced profit, 1 month in arrears).

Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

  • Glu Recruit are working with an Electrical client to increase and maximise sales of services primarily to commercial and industrial customers. To a lesser degree we also provide services to consumers, but they are in the minority. This would be achieved by a blend of social media marketing, email campaigns and cold calling. You would be specifically targeting strategic commercial sectors such as Hotels, manufacturing, managed offices etc.

    Duties within the role include:

  • From sales calls or inbound calls capture customer details.
  • Record all customer interactions (calls/emails), leads and quotes in our CRM.
  • Manage the outlook calendar for booking in site surveys at customer sites as well as client meetings.
  • From the survey report and associated solution design provided by engineers obtain materials pricing to build a customer quote.
  • Follow up all calls and quotes with the customer.
  • Book all the jobs won into the outlook calendar and liaise with our engineers.
  • Liaise with the customer as to convenient days/times for the work to be carried out.
  • Keep the customer fully updated with any IMPORTANT developments with their requirement including changes to timescales

  • Essential:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Have sales experience in the areas of selling services to commercial customers.
  • Have experience with using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as part of the sales process.
  • Good familiarity with using a CRM.
  • Commitment to accurate and consistent record keeping.
  • Familiar with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Be keen to learn new evolving marketing and sales techniques.
  • Full driving license.
  • Good interpersonal skills
