Business Development Executive

We are excited to start the search for a Business Development Executive to support our BDM in driving new business for Hawksmoor Liverpool through corporate, consumer and agency channels. This is an important position within both the Hawksmoor sales team and the restaurant management team. 

Key to the role is proactive work in the local community, engaging with corporates and consumer bodies as well as relevant agencies and third parties.  Outreach including networking and attendance of trade exhibitions is vital to the growth of such bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Business Development Manager
  • Indirectly report to the General Manager and leading activity such as launches, events, concepts and partnerships
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies for groups, private dining & events 
  • Manage brand-appropriate partnerships to promote the sales of events and private dining
  • Research, contact, negotiate and secure new business partnerships
  • Maximise covers and groups for the restaurant, supporting off-peak times with ideas and initiatives via existing and new contacts, in line with commercial objectives for the business 
  • Manage relationships with local concierges, local businesses, PA clubs, events managers & DMCs and any other required type of relevant business. 
  • Promote sales into the restaurants, managing databases and ensuring the restaurants are front of mind within their local areas, driving new ideas and fresh thinking
  • Possess a solid understanding of the local area surrounding the restaurant, driving awareness via hotels, bars, theatres, tourist attractions, building strong relationships and networking, keeping the marketing and restaurant teams informed of upcoming opportunities
  • Manage the PA database ensuring they have regular communications and are being rewarded properly
  • Possess a true passion for the industry and hospitality and showcase the Hawksmoor brand and culture on a local and regional basis
