Overview:

La Fosse have partnered with a leading Insurance organisation who are looking for an MI Business Analyst to support their regulatory projects. This position is an FTC for 12 months



The Role:

  • Ensure that requirements documentation is thorough and accurately represents project deliverables, including governance, version control, approvals, and a documentation
  • Confirm that new services align with business and user needs, as well as regulatory requirements such as Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience, and Pension Dashboard, Include a traceability matrix in the supporting documentation where necessary.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and trends over time, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights and solutions to business challenges.
  • Collaborate with all functions to support requirements gathering and project deliverables, including facilitating workshops and ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
  • Identify areas for improvement, explore viable options, analyze the holistic impact of changes on other processes and projects, and define success measures.
  • Plan and organize resources to ensure effective utilization.
  • Create and review process diagrams, data flows, and system architecture documentation to support projects or identified revisions, including process improvements.
  • Identify and document potential process failures and control points in end-to-end reporting processes.
  • Review change requests and impact assessments, providing challenges where appropriate.
  • Understand, communicate, and regularly assess major risks and issues in project support.
  • Identify and detail user and business needs to enable effective design, development, and testing of services and business changes.


Experience :

  • Must have 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience of working across projects and programmes as a Business Analyst for regulatory driven projects.
  • Experience in Financial Services across Insurance, Payments, Banking and Pensions.
  • Development and maintenance of MI including reports, dashboards, development of process improvements and integration.
  • Experience of working between technical specialists and the wider business.
