Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary: Experience Dependant
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Location: Carlisle
We are recruiting for a well established business in Carlisle, who are looking for an experienced builder with minimum of 5 years experience.
The successful candidate MUST have a drivers licence.
Responsibilities:
* Prepping and cleaning the construction areas
* Delivering and distributing supplies
* Assisting workers with equipment
* Helping on small building tasks
* Using heavy machinery appropriately
* Erecting, maintaining and dismantling scaffolding
* Understanding technical drawings
* Soundproofing or waterproofing structures
* Laying pipes
* Supervising contractors as part of a project
* Planning new developments as part of a construction team
* Applying insulation
Skills:
* Good coordination skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Can stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions
* Attention to detail

* Ability to work well independently
