Candidate Overview

This position sits within our Bids team, and you will have the responsibility for managing the production of practice group bids within our Finance & Projects Group. You will work closely with the Bids Manager and Bids Partners leading the opportunities, advising on bids best practice at all stages. You will co-ordinate the firm during the process, have project management and creative oversight to deliver the bid on time. 

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Project and bid management - managing the bids process from start to finish. 
  • Input to our bid strategy - working with the bids team to identify key themes and messages. 
  • Working closely with the Bid Managers on larger bids.
  • Taking responsibility for managing pre-qualification stages - qualifying the opportunity, managing Partners and other stakeholders through this stage and producing the complete response. 
  • Content management - maintaining and enhancing pre-written content, guides and other standard materials to expand and improve our automated content library.
  • Producing reports and analysis of bid activity to inform business decisions. 
  • Getting involved with internal projects to improve bid information flow, analysis and best practice within the firm.
  • We are looking for candidates who hold the following skills and experience: 

  • At least 1 year experience of managing bids, providing advice on approach and strategy. 
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Legal or other professional services sector experience.
  • Highly diligent with excellent attention to detail
