Audit & Accounts Senior – Wirral

Location: Wirral

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Numero Recruitment are currently working with a Top 20 firm of Accountants in the Wirral that would like to recruit and Audit & Accounts senior into their team.

Working within the firms Business Advisory Group, you will gain experience in working with a wide variety of clients across a multitude of industry sectors.

The Role:

  • Lead audits of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and UK subsidiaries of large multinational groups
  • Control each assignment, ensuring that they meet agreed budget and timeline
  • Managing the audit team whilst on site to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and all queries are resolved with the client satisfactorily where possible
  • Guide and supervise more junior members of staff
  • Accounts preparation in accordance with the firm’s procedures
  • Other adhoc consultancy assignments

    • Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA Qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • IT skills: MS office especially Excel; we use CCH Accounts Production and CCH Audit Automation (Pro Audit)
  • All applicants must have substantial audit & accounts experience commensurate with the role.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Possess good communication skills as well as active engagement with clients
  • Able to foresee issues and find workable solutions
  • Proactive in dealing with each assignment
  • Take an active interest and take ownership of each assignment
