Overview of the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Consultant to join our team on a fixed-term contract, working directly at our client's site – a leading global technology firm. This role is integral to the successful planning, design, and execution of various AV projects, including new office setups, equipment upgrades, and system integrations. The AV Consultant will be responsible for creating AV designs in accordance with global standards and overseeing the delivery of these projects from inception to completion. Description of Duties As an AV Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of AV projects, from initial design and planning to final implementation and support. This includes conducting site surveys and needs assessments to develop detailed AV design plans that align with client requirements and global standards. You will supervise the installation and configuration of AV equipment, ensuring all systems are properly integrated and functioning to meet performance standards. Comprehensive testing and troubleshooting will be conducted to resolve any technical issues, while providing ongoing technical support and training to client staff on new AV systems. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and IT staff, to ensure seamless integration of AV systems into broader project designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining thorough project documentation and reporting, ensuring all aspects of the AV systems are well-documented for future reference and continuous improvement. This role requires a blend of on-site presence (three days a week) and remote work (two days a week). The candidate must be adaptable to the dynamic environment of a global technology firm.
