Murphy have a new exciting role as an Assurance Assistant to join our SHES team, based at our Golborne office.


This role is to provide the SHES team with support relating to assurance within Transportation (Rail) Business Unit


What you will be doing:


  • Carry out end of periodical reporting, of assurance data 
  • Ownership of the reporting of National Performance Measures or equivalent to the client.
  • Management of 2-1-2 and development of performance reports/dashboards
  • Sustainability performance reporting – monthly performance report/dashboard
  • Be a superuser for the relevant systems and develop an in depth knowledge of their workings. To assist the SHES team Create, Amend and Upload assurance checklists to the SharePoint system.
  • Assist the SHES advisor team with assurance administrative enquiries and issues.
  • Assist with the creation of “Lessons Learned Remembered” campaigns.
  • Providing assistance with RM3 collation and interpretation activities.
  • This is a development role with the candidate developing within the SHES assurance function.
  • Produce schedule of monthly senior management tours and help collate items raised. 
  • Provide routine and ad hoc management information to inform decision making.
  • Who we are looking for:


  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
  • Successful experience of working in a general administration support role and/or in a customer services environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of operating systems
  • A proactive team player that enjoys a busy and fast paced environment 
  • Ideally have previous experience within the construction industry or within a SHES team
