Job Description




We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Brand Manager to join our marketing team to support with our extremly tasty Naturally Sweet team.

The ideal candidate will assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies, ensuring alignment with our company's vision and goals.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our brand along with having a unique and tailored 1 year training program to allow you to gain experience within our Marketing, Business Intelligence, Research and Development and Category team's across Valeo Foods UK.


This is a Hybrid role with regular travel to our Rowse site at Wallingford.

We do require visits to other sites when neccessary.


  • Strong stewardship of initiatives within the brand plans
  • Good monthly reporting on their initiatives to board-level standards
  • Positive contribution to building a “Valeo Brand Building Framework” and ensure a consistent and excellent use
  • Good contribution to the annual strategy review 
  • Strong marketing budget compliance and optimisation (Core marketing, ASOH, shopper marketing)
  • Very strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Emerging role in representating the brand externally especially with retailers
  • Very strong contribution to the “Consumer is Boss” plan (regular connections with the consumers)
  • Excellent capacity to bring the “outside world in” – latest trends, international intelligence, competitive intelligence
