About Our Client Page Personnel is looking to recruit for a large well-known manufacturing business based in Rotherham. they have experienced recent growth they are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team on a permanent basis.
Job Description Reporting to the Financial Manager you will be responsible for the general accountancy procedures together with the ability to support with month-end duties, get involved with weekly payroll,, HR/Payrol, Post Journals /Cashbook/Petty Cash Reconciliation, Assist with the development of spreadsheets to help another team member, Help in Prep of Management accounts, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, and other Ad hoc duties...
The Successful Applicant Has held a similar role in the past.Ideally working towards an accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA.Excellent Excel and computer skills are required.Enthusiastic, professional, well organised.Able to work to strict deadlines.A will-do attitude.
