    Page Personnel is looking to recruit for a large well-known business as they have experienced recent growth they are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team permanently to join an established and growing company based in Harrogate.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Financial Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts, predominately the fixed asset areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing day-to-day transactions and reconciliations
  • Provide support and reporting to other areas of the business
  • Actively reviewing, documenting & implementing business process improvements
  • Ad hoc project work

  • Has held a similar role in the past.
  • Ideally working towards an accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Excellent Excel and computer skills are required.
  • Enthusiastic, professional, well organised.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines.
  • A will-do attitude.
