Miryco Consultants are working with a top tier personal lines insurer, who are looking to bring in an experienced Actuarial Reporting Manager to lead workstreams and ongoing changes/implementation of IFRS17.



Overview:


  • Work with planning to improve and lead delivery of actuarial IFRS17 support for plan and forecast.
  • Develop innovative improvements and opportunities, to align the actuarial reserving and booking activities under IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
  • Lead regular production of IFRS1, KPI's and regular reports, liaising with Finance, Capital Modelling, and other stakeholders to ensure Actuarial requirements are met.
  • Help to embed cross-team activities within a business as usual environment.
  • Work with auditors for resolving any queries related to SII and IFRS17.
  • Independently lead stakeholder engagement including peers within Finance, Auditors, Group


Desired Experience:


  • Qualified Actuary with experience working within General Insurance.
  • IFRS17, SII knowledge essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Minimum 2.1 University Degree.
