We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join our client's thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to further their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Completing personal and corporate tax returns, including computations and submissions to HMRC.
- Providing support to senior team members in conducting audits and assurance engagements (25% of the role)
- Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and address queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilizing accounting software and systems to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as required by management.
Requirements - AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, with relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- Audit experience is not essential but desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
Benefits - Salary circa £26,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
