We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join our client's thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to further their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Completing personal and corporate tax returns, including computations and submissions to HMRC.
  • Providing support to senior team members in conducting audits and assurance engagements (25% of the role)
  • Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and address queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilizing accounting software and systems to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as required by management.



Requirements
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, with relevant experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
  • Audit experience is not essential but desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
