First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Executive on behalf of our specialist independent wall and floor tile client based in Bristol. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To handle and develop incoming orders with the existing customer base to maximise sales
  • To manage incoming new business leads
  • To generate and quote project leads from new and existing customers
  • To provide support to field staff and showrooms by quoting with appropriate margins, finding alternative products and answering technical queries
  • To build strong relationships with customers and showroom staff members to establish and maintain the position of a trusted advisor
  • To highlight and promote new products and ranges, including trade promotions, to customers
  • To support internet sales, product set ups and other shared colleague tasks due to holidays etc.
  • To keep our customer house builder specifications up to date
  • To keep price matrix up to date on the ERP system
  • Troubleshoot, finding solutions for day-to-day operational distribution issues
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months experience within the building/KBB industry (ideally in a sales role).
  • Be technically efficient with computer systems (ideally Microsoft Office products)
  • A thorough understanding of the company’s full product range
  • A thorough knowledge of KBB / Building industry and competitors
  • A thorough knowledge of the company’s procedures and policies
  • Proactively looks to increase technical expertise through research
  • A thorough understanding of how the company operates holistically
