We are looking for an Accounts & Audit senior who is keen to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries. In this role you will be working closely with a manager and be responsible for organising and managing accounts, tasks and projects.

Key duties include, but not limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, focusing on Owner/Managed businesses ranging from sole traders, partnerships, to limited companies and groups with turnovers ranging from £100,000 to over £70m. Ensuring assignments adhere to the firm’s standard procedures, confirming arrangements with clients and internal departments, including estimated costs and billing arrangements.
  • Upholding assurance quality consistently and complying with the firm’s procedures.
  • Identifying and resolving significant accounts and tax matters and contentious issues, in consultation with clients and managers.
  • Planning non-complex assignments, ensuring achievement of agreed budgets and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintaining close communication with clients and other stakeholders, fostering long-term relationships for the firm's future benefit.
  • Preparing for and attending accounts meetings with Directors and clients.
  • Supporting Directors and Partners in business development opportunities, including participation in scoping and pitching
  • For this position it is essential that you are Part or Newly Qualified ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified.
