Overview Reference Salary Job Location Job Type Posted Accountant CV Screen is recruiting for an Accountant for a well-established accounting firm. The role is hybrid with 1 day from home and 4 days in the office based in Bridgwater and a salary of up to £45,000 is available. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES: - Preparation of limited company statutory financial statements from source records - Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning - Experience in the production of management accounts including commentary - Responsibility for mentoring junior members of staff. - Reviewing accounts files and taxation computation in readiness for partner final review and sign off. REQUIRED SKILLS The Accountant will have the majority of the following experience: - Accountancy qualification ICAEW/ACCA or qualified by experience. - Familiar with IRIS/Sage/QuickBooks/ Xero accountancy software - Proven experience in a similar accountancy role in a practice - Lives locally to Bridgwater SALARY: - Annual salary review - 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays - Opportunity to carry over 1 weeks holiday into the following holiday year. - Private healthcare plan. - Flexible working hours including a working from home policy for 1 day per week - 24-hour external Employee Assistance Programme helpline. - Contributory pension with death in service benefit. - Introducing clients and staff commission schemes.
