The Role

A new Account Handler opportunity has become available to join our growing team!

As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.


Acting as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, you will build and maintain strong relationships, understanding clients' insurance requirements and recommending appropriate coverage options. You will also get involved with New Business and other general tasks to support the team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance providers
  • Handling renewals and carrying out mid-term adjustments
  • Dealing with new business
  • Negotiate insurance terms and premiums with underwriters on behalf of clients
  • Act as the main point of contact for offering technical expertise and providing appropriate advice for internal client servicing teams
  • Attend client and insurer meetings
  • General support to the division
  • Providing exceptional service to clients



Who We'd Like To Hear From

  • Prior experience in commercial insurance (around 5 years ideally)
  • Knowledge of the Acturis Platform (preferred)
  • Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as collaborating with the team
  • Excellent organisation skills and the capacity to thrive under pressure
  • Self-motivated with a focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Effective listener with the ability to build rapport with clients, insurers, and colleagues
